My grandfather is a botanist and horticulturalist. I spent July and August of 2022 at his arboretum and garden, photographing his spaces and his collection of trees and plants.

I was interested in the variety of shapes, colours, and patterns in the garden, as well as the the quietness and beauty of a life lived outside.
